Winter For Children In Yemen
Yemen is in the midst of the worst famine the world has ever seen.
In 2020 the UN estimated that the war caused over 200,000 deaths from indirect causes which include lack of food, health services, and infrastructure and further estimates that over 400,000 Yemeni children under 5 years old could die from acute malnutrition before the end of this year.
As winter approaches the children who have survived are just not strong enough to fight the bitter cold without adequate shelter or heating.
Please help us to avoid a crisis this winter.
Last year we distributed jackets for 20,000 children and blankets for over 30,000 families in many areas throughout Yemen
